Anthony R. Indaimo is the Chairman and The Head of International Commercial Practice Group at Withers LLP. Anthony has extensive experience in corporate, commercial, and corporate finance transactions. His work involves the acquisition and disposal of businesses and shares for private and public companies, joint ventures, and capital raising. Anthony, who is fluent in Italian, has particular emphasis in his work on cross-border transactions, especially the United Kingdom, United States, and Italy. He earned his Bachelor of Jurisprudence and Bachelor of Law from the University of Western Australia. His professional memberships include: the British Italian Law Association, the Business Club Italia, and the British Chamber of Commerce for Italy. He has cowritten various articles on AIM (formerly the Alternative Investment Market), London's successful secondary stock market, and the merger of the London and Italian stock exchanges. He also lectures extensively on raising capital for growth companies and listing on AIM, and these have included lectures with the London Stock Exchange in Athens, Geneva, London, Madrid, Milan and Zurich. He has also spoken at various seminars on in-bound investment into the United Kingdom with Think London and was a cosponsor with the LSE on a series of seminars on listing investment funds in New York and Greenwich.

Conan Chitham is a Partner at Withers LLP and an experienced commercial intellectual property lawyer. He earned his MA in Law from Trinity Hall, Cambridge University. He advises on noncontentious intellectual property (IP) matters and on issues relating to acquisition, creation, and exploitation of IP, and has worked on the whole range of value-realizing deals involving IP. He also has extensive experience of advising in IP issues in relation to the development of technologies, both by established businesses and new operations. Conan has written numerous articles in journals such as Communications Law, Copyright World, and Trademark World. He is a Council Member of The Licensing Executive Society and a member of the Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys, the City of London Solicitors Company, and City of London.

Nicole Hirst is a Solicitor in the Intellectual Property Group at Withers LLP, based in London, where she specializes in intellectual property and commercial litigation with particular emphasis on trademark, copyright, and patent infringement cases. She is an Associate Member of the Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys, the Law Society of England & Wales, and the British Italian Law Association. She attended Reading University where she obtained an LLB. She also obtained a Diploma in Commercial Intellectual Property from Nottingham Trent University. She contributed to the U.K. chapter in World Intellectual Property Rights and Remedies published by the Center for International Legal Studies.

Caroline Hughes was until recently a Solicitor in the IP Group at Withers LLP based in London. She specialized in intellectual property and information technology matters, with particular emphasis on brands, licensing, and the commercial exploitation of intellectual property rights. She graduated from the University of Manchester with an LLB (English Law and French Law) before qualifying as a solicitor. She has contributed various legal articles including the Intellectual Property chapter in Tolley's Charities Manual and the U.K. chapter in World Intellectual Property Rights and Remedies published by the Center for International Legal Studies. She is now working as an in-house solicitor for a media company in a wide ranging legal and commercial role.

Nadia Ignatius is a Senior Associate at Withers LLP. Her practice consists primarily of advising domestic U.K. and international clients on general company and commercial matters. She assists her clients in setting up corporate legal structures and commercial contracts such as agency, distribution, franchising, outsourcing, and sponsorship agreements. She earned her Bachelor of Commerce (Legal) degree at the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa, was admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales in 1993, and joined Withers LLP in 1995. She is a fluent Italian speaker and gives talks regularly at seminars and other events organized by Withers LLP in Italy. She is a member of the Law Society of England & Wales and the British Italian Law Association.

Richard Lord was until recently a Senior Associate in the International Commercial Practice Group at Withers LLP. He has extensive experience in corporate, commercial, and corporate finance transactions. His work involved the acquisition and disposal of businesses and shares for private and public companies, raising capital, and doing a wide range of commercial and contractual transactions. Richard, who is fluent in Italian and was based in the firm's Milan office for over four years, had an emphasis in his work on cross-border transactions, particularly involving Italy. He graduated from the University of Lancaster with a BA (Modern Languages) before qualifying as a solicitor. He has lectured extensively on raising capital for growth companies and listing on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange, including lectures in Italy and Switzerland. Richard has recently become an in-house lawyer at a FTSE 100 company.

John d'A. Maycock was a Partner at Withers LLP and head of the firm's Intellectual Property Group, from which he retired in June 2008 and is now a consultant. He has 30 years of specialist experience in intellectual property (IP), both contentious and noncontentious. He joined Withers LLP from his niche practice, Maycock's. He earned his MA and LLM degrees from Gonville & Caius College, Cambridge, and is a solicitor and Registered Trade Mark Agent. John has considerable experience in advising on the creation, exploitation, management, defense, and enforcement of IP rights. He is well versed in the management and conduct of proceedings in an international context and regularly advises on competition law issues at European and national levels in the context of the exploitation of IP. John has written various legal articles and is a contributor to the IP chapter in Tolley's Charities Manual and to the U.K. chapter in the World Intellectual Property Rights and Remedies published by the Center for International Legal Studies. He holds various professional memberships including the Law Society of England and Wales, the Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys, the International Association of Practitioners in Industrial Property, the European Community Trade Mark Association, the Union of European Practitioners in Intellectual Property, the Licensing Executives Society, and the Pharmaceutical Trade Marks Group and is an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Patent Agents.

Gabriel Monzon-Cortarelli is a Senior Associate in the International Commercial Practice Group at Withers LLP. He has extensive experience in advising on cross-border mergers and acquisitions, focusing on Italian, U.S. and Latin American transactions and on international capital markets, representing both issuers and underwriters in debt and equity offerings. He also focuses on assisting Italian and other European, U.S., and Asian issuers who wish to list on AIM, the Alternative Investment Market of the London Stock Exchange. Gabriel regularly participates as a speaker and lecturer at corporate finance events, such as the AIM listing conferences in Spain. He is a frequent contributor in the Italian corporate press on capital markets matters. Gabriel is fluent in Italian and Spanish. He graduated with an LL.B (Honors) in Law from University College London, London, and an LL.M in Banking and Finance Law from Fordham University School of Law, New York. He is admitted to practice as an attorney in the State of New York and as a solicitor in England and Wales.
